History
Eveready traces its roots to 1896, when Conrad Hubert established the American Electrical Novelty and Manufacturing Company in New York to market battery-powered devices. One of the company’s most significant milestones came in 1899, when it commercialized one of the earliest handheld electric flashlights based on inventor David Misell’s design. [3]
